Les Mess Review

My house is a mess! Not like gross, dirty and disgusting...
but toys, art supplies and clutter! With 6 kids you can
imagine how it can all add up. Each kid gets gifts each
holiday, more on birthdays, they earn money and buy
other things they want..well the only problem is..
ITS EVERYWHERE!

Ya, can you relate? I am sure some
of you can. I can clean and clean and clean and I still
feel cluttered. This summer before I had the baby I
completed my goal of 30 bags in 30 days where you get
must get 30 bags of clothes, toys etc and get rid of them!
Now we are talking large garbage bags, no little grocery
sacks. I did it, but I did 40! I was thrilled..did it help cut
down the clutter..you bet! Can you see a difference.
Sadly, not much..but we are still working on it. Even if
it takes a few moody kids to help me out I want to get
to the point I don't feel like we have so much junk!
They have out grown most of their toys and I don't
feel up to have a yard sale but hate to just give them to
goodwill when we could definitely use the little bit of
cash. So for now it sits there, some stashed in boxes,
some I have posted on ThredUP to upcycle etc. I need to
just do it. But I can not do it all alone..
Thanks to Les Mess my kids are excited to help me out!
Les Mess is an organizing card game for children and parents
ages 7 and up to help get them motivated and organized ..
Its more than just a game. Its a way of life!

This great game comes in a sturdy little box, which I love..
no flimsy box that will just rip and result in trash and
cards scattered throughout the house!! And the rules are easy!
Shuffle, pick a card and do it! If you finish in the time
noted on the card reward yourself and your children
with a healthy treat or small gift/reward.
They even give you a few ideas:
Make them Queen/King for a day, Trip to a favorite spot,
Stay up an extra hour etc. Nothing that includes bringing
more clutter into your home. So far my kids have really
liked it, and they are excited to race against the clock to
get it done. We added just a few more rules: No fighting
or crying during the game and its has to be done right!
Les Mess has more than just a card game to help you out as
well..Check out their website and see more great ways
to help de-clutter your space. Take pictures..send them in
and let them tell you how its done!

**We were sent the Les Mess game for review only, but

  1. This is a really cute idea! I can definitely see how it would help motivate the kids to pitch in. And with 6 kids, you need all the help you can get. :)
