EARLY BIRD GIFT GUIDE: The Left-Hand Store Review

Lefty's San Francisco
We all know someone who is left handed, maybe its your
spouse, child or even their school teacher..but have
you ever though about them being left handed when searching
for the perfect gift? Give them a gift that fits them just right,
a gift that will bring a smile to their face because you really
took the time to think about them and put some thought into it.
There are many times my left handed daughter has felt left out
or different because she is left handed and her papers smudge
easier or she plays sports a little different than her siblings or
most of her friends and classmates.

I told her about this great store online and you should have seen
her eyes light up, suddenly being left handed was cool!
Wondering where to find some great left handed products?

There are many great gift ideas...

For the adult who like to write check out their
Deluxe Calligraphy Set with Instruction and Sketch Books.
Its a pretty neat set. They actually have it listed in the Kid's Sets
and sent it to me for my 10 year old daughter to review. I love
the kit itself but think the very popular Leonardo sketchbook image
is a little bit inappropriate for her age even if it is art. I prefer to avoid
that type of art until her art classes in High School in my opinion, I know
she may come across it before then, but I am not going to offer it.
We will be modge podgeing a cute print paper to the front of it so she
can still use it and enjoy its great benefits.
The Left Handed Calligraphy Set has everything you need to teach
you the art of calligraphy. Its a beginners calligraphy set, which is great
for her age and where she loves art, sketching and witting. She is very
mature and responsible for her age or I'd worry about the ink. This set
includes a 7" long hardwood pen holder with steel nibs angled for
left hand witting in different widths, a bottle of black calligraphy ink,
and wooden rolling blotter.
I like the storage box that is thick and deep to store the pen and supplies.
The sketchbook measures 6" x 9.5"with 100 pages of drawing paper for
plenty of practice and rough drafts. We love the spiral on the left so she
can easily write and rest her hand slightly without the pressure of the
spiral binding in the way. The instruction book: "Left-Handed Calligraphy"
was written by Vance Studley, award-winning calligrapher and author.
It has a great coverage of the art of calligraphy from a left-handed writer's
point of view. Its a great set and fun to watch her learn how to write fancy
and creative. The video I took ended up extremely blurry because it was
just with my camera, so I decided not to post it. I will have to take some
more pictures when we get it out again soon!
Follow The Left-Hand Store on Facebook and YouTube to stay connected
and visit their website while shopping for all your left handed friends!

*I was sent only the above for review but all opinions are my own and you
may not agree, they were not affected in anyway by recieving it free. Thanks
