Trading Phrases Review & Giveaway

To start off I wanted to introduce you to this company, they say it just right and tell is as it is so here is a little  about them from information taken from their site... So just by introducing you with that little tid bit about them, it gets you

excited to learn and see more of what they have to offer, at least thats

how I feel. I love vinyl. I love the ease and mess free design it offers you, 

and I love companies who share their love of their product with you!

 A simple word or phrase on a wall can bring a whole new feeling

to a boring plain room, it can brighten someones day and express your

deepest feelings without you saying a word. It can share with the world

your love for your spouse, child or life in general and show off your

caring side, who knew it could all be so easy!

I have always loved the saying.."Always Kiss Me Goodnight" and 

have a little painted block on my dresser that says it. I look at it daily &

it just makes me smile. When I was searching random websites for vinyl

for something to add to my boring walls in our bedroom I found this site

called Trading Phrases, I immediately loved the look of their examples, 

sayings and decor ideas. Then I found this...

Oh, how I love this saying..almost more than the "Always Kiss Me Goodnight".

My husband gets up before the rest of the house, much like many parents do

and is off to work before the sun is out most mornings. There is just

something about that almost eerie feeling to me when he slips out the door

without waking me and letting me know he is leaving. He always wakes me 

with a kiss, and I love it! I remember a few mornings he knew I had a long

night with sick kids or whatever the reason may have been and he didn't 

want to wake me and slipped out the door. When I woke up and he was

no where to be found the feeling was just horrible. I know there is nothing

wrong and he just wanted to let me sleep, but it just really bothers me. 

Who knows what the day may bring, life can change in an instant and I 

always want that morning kiss to help my day go a little better. He knows

how much it means to me and it seemed like this vinyl was the perfect fit 

for our bedroom! I am sure you can also find something on their

site that fits your personality and style as well! 

The website is easy to navigate with wonderful pictures

of their sayings and things there for you to see them in use. 

You can easily search their site for specific words or themes to move the

process along or can take your time and enjoy all the great quotes and things. 

When you find something you would love on your walls, or to give as a gift

ordering is simple..choose your size, color(s) and quantity!

I was excited to see the vinyl when it arrived in the mail and knew just the

wall I wanted it to go on. Once I made sure the surface was clean and completely 

dry I taped the corners to the wall and messed with it for a little while measuring and

making sure it was where I wanted it. Simple tips and instructions were included so I 

didn't need to worry about doing it wrong or messing it up.

The vinyl also came with a little scraper to help smooth out any

bubbles or wrinkles and made sure the vinyl was secure to the wall 

before carefully removing the outer papers.This saying came in two 

colors, and you apply it in two steps, no matter how many times I 

looked at it to see if it looked straight for the top lettering it always

looked a bit slanted, I changed it over and over and over again

(the reason why you tape it in place before removing the backing!) 

and it still ended up a little off, but I still think it looks great and love it. 

All the twirls and loops on the "with" and "kiss" made it hard to 

tell. I wish it was already done, overlapped etc. when it was sent

so I didn't have to stress over getting it right LOL but its all good!

I am loving it!  Vinyl is so great when renting.. I can change the

look as much as I want when I can't paint or hang to many

things on the walls and I don't need to worry about it

leaving a film or damaging the walls. Definitely the way to go!

They also added a few little extras, some cute little paw prints
and some three leaf clovers perfect for St. Patty's decor
and perfect for practice before you hang the final piece.
