House of Jerky Review & Giveaway

 
 
 We were sent a great variety of jerky to review from

House of Jerky.

 In our home jerky is our on the go, camping, hunting, hiking,
sitting at home, anytime snack. You can almost always find a pack
in the cupboard, a bag in the car or at times even some home made
venison, elk or buffalo jerky in the freezer.

When I am craving a snack, I tend to go for jerky instead of
cookies, chips, or similar snacks. We spend alot of time in the
car traveling to grandparents, kids visitation with their other
parent etc. One of our favorite snacks to pick up at the gas
station is a drink and a pack of jerky. It never lasts long before
its crumbs and gone. My kids have followed in my love for
jerky as well. I remember as a kid being the same way and
begging Mom and Dad for jerky at the gas stations when
traveling too. I much rather have them chew on a good piece
of jerky then a sugary candy any day!

 There were so many flavors of jerky we LOVE from the
House of Jerky. I would have to say if I had to choose just one
it would be the Black Pepper Buffalo Jerky

You can taste the soy sauce, smoky flavor, and black pepper
as well as many other flavorful spices they have added.
I was sharing each flavor with each of my kids and hubby, but
got eating this pack while doing reviews and just couldn't get
enough of it. The texture and flavor are fabulous and I loved the
soft and tenderness of it, making it easy to chew and continue to
savor the delicious flavor! My youngest got a few bites and came
back for more, I soon noticed I had finished off the 1.75oz. package
and no one else got a taste. Oops...but it sure was good. I was left
mouth watering for more!

I was impressed with the tenderness of almost every pack we
reviewed. I love when you get jerky so full of flavor and yet
its still moist and chewable.

The Venison Jerky was great and didn't have the gamey taste many
worry about. We eat venison alot, and know when it can be really
gamey..this package had just the right seasonings to bring out the
great meat taste but fill it full of flavor too.

 Many of them were so moist they left behind a bit of sweet
and almost sticky sauce on your fingers. Thats when you know
its good! You have to lick your fingers to make sure you get
every bit of that goodness! We love how easy it is to chew and tear
apart and that they use all natural ingredients. There were
very few that had tendons or fat sections that you tend to find
that can sometimes make eating jerky a chore trying to eat it
and chew on it for what seems like forever.
Thats always a plus especially for kids.
 
 We loved all the peppered jerky, they had just the right amount
not over powering like a few others we had tried. I loved the
flavor of the Hot Beef Jerky, and wondered just how hot it was
going to be. I love hot things, but sometimes hot can be too hot!
It definitely had a kick to it but the flavor was so good it brings
you back for more. You can feel that burning in your mouth.
from the combination of Tabasco Sauce, habanero peppers,
red crushed chili pepper, black & white peppers.
Lots of intense and delicious flavors for sure!

Another favorite of the kids was the Turkey Jerky Black Pepper
a good soy sauce and garlic hint along with a great smoky flavor.
The Black Pepper Wild Boar was an animal we had never tried
before. We were in awe of just how good it was, a strong teriyaki
flavor and soy sauce was definitely noticeable and very moist & flavorful.

One thing I think is great about House of Jerky is the fact that
they do not use preservatives, and they still taste fresh and newly
made in their resealable pouches. I love that they also added in 
a little box of "Pick our Jerky" toothpicks..how cool is that. 
You know when you eat jerky you almost always need to floss
or use a tooth pick after wards. Great addition to great products!

 Next time you want to try some jerky with the flavor soaked
into each bite, you should really give House of Jerky a try.
We eat a lot of jerky and I was honestly impressed!
