Fun IQ Toys: Discovering Strengths Review & Giveaway

 When you are looking for fun things to get your kids, games
to play or projects to work on but you also want them to be
educational, want something that can help them learn and get
their creativity flowing. Fun IQ Toys is a great place to explore
some fun new finds!

We were lucky to get the chance to review one of their great products!

 "Mystery Detective" A fun and unusual kit that your
 children can explore and to learn what real detectives do!

 To get started they first needed to learn and explore the kit
and all the ingredients and supplies needed. They were able to
learn there is also some set up and preparations that need to be
complete before a detective can solve his/her mystery.

Labeling and making note of each ingredient, exhibit, clue or part
of the mystery itself is important to label so you can keep things
in order while solving the crime or mystery.

  We labeled each pen and each bottle...

and added the mysterious substances!

 Soon we were fighting crime and thinking like detectives.
The whole family got into it and had fun discovering who
needed to be caught! Lots of learning and creative ways for them
 to find out who stole the money, the secret active ingredient in a
  piece of candy, who broke the window & the bloody glass mystery! 

We examined the differences in fingerprints...

and used them to solve crimes...

 We were able to analyze evidence with different scientific
testing new to them and identify mysterious substances. 

 They got to see and learn about litmus paper and use it to
 test for acids and bases while working on the next mystery.

 and the also learned about how to test DNA!

Definitely a fun kit for kids and families who like
to have fun together and investigate crime scene clues,
identify suspects, and analyze motives. My oldest has a
"Friend Mystery Club" at school where they come up with
and solve mysteries at recess. Not sure where they got the
idea, but you can imagine her excitement when she saw what
we were able to review. She thought it was neat to learn how
detectives solve mysteries and they way its actually done
compared to they way they play at school and said it would
be neat to get each of her Mystery Club Friends one of these
kits for Christmas this year!
